When do I schedule a session?
As soon as I have contacted the parent or the parent has contacted me and confirmed the session(s) time(s) I head to my portal and click on the SCHEDULE button at the top of the screen and enter the information requested.
Sessions must be schedule right after I have confirmed with the parent and before the session agreed date & time.
I can submit one schedule/session at a time. If I have agreed on multiple sessions with the parent(s), I must submit each session's schedule separately.
What happens if I don't schedule a session?
If i don't schedule a session, the validation for the session will not be accounted for and sanctions will be applied.
What happens if I make a mistake after scheduling a session?
I contact my tutor advisor and provide the correct information maximum within 24 hours of my submission and before agreed session date & time to avoid applicable sanctions. tutor.advisor@privatetutorsegypt.com
Validate
When do I validate a session?
As soon as I have completed the session I head to my portal and click on the VALIDATE button at the top of the screen and enter the information requested.
Sessions must be validated right after their completion and within 24 hours maximum.
I can submit one validation at a time per student, per subject.
What happens if I don't validate a session?
If i don't validate a session within the 24 hours delay, I will receive a notification and a sanction will be applied.
What happens if I make a mistake after validating?
I contact my tutor advisor and provide the correct information maximum within 24 hours of my submission to avoid applicable sanctions.
What happens if I validate a session I haven't scheduled?
The validation won't be accounted for and will not be included in my payslip.
Reschedule
When do I reschedule a session?
As soon as I have contacted the parent or the parent has contacted me to reschedule the session, I head to my portal and click on the RESCHEDULE button at the top of the screen and enter the information requested.
Sessions must be reschedule right after I have confirmed with the parents and before the initial session agreed date time.
I can submit one session rescheduling at a time. If I'm rescheduling multiple sessions, I must submit each rescheduled session at a time.
What happens if I don't reschedule a session?

I can reschedule last minute (less than 24 hours before session time) up to two sessions per year per student for emergency purposes. Sanction will be applied for any further last minute rescheduling.
I can reschedule without sanctions on the condition that I notify the parents more than 24 hours before the initial session agreed date & time.

Cancel
When do I cancel a session?
As soon as I have contacted the parent or the parent has contacted me to cancel the session, I head to my portal and click on the CANCEL button at the top of the screen and enter the information requested.
Sessions must be cancelled right after I have confirmed with the parents and before the initial session agreed date time.
I can submit one session cancellation at a time. If I'm cancelling multiple sessions, I must submit each cancelled session at a time.
What happens if I don't cancel a session?

Feedback
When do I complete my feedback?
There are two types of feedbacks: Assessment Feedback & Monthly Feedback
The Assessment Feedback must be completed right after my assessment session with the student.
The Monthly Feedback must be completed on a monthly basis from the date of the assessment session.
I head to my portal and click on the Feedback button at the top of the screen, select the tab for the type of feedback I want to complete and enter the information requested.
What happens if I don't complete my feedback?
If i don't complete my feedback I will receive a notification and sanctions will be applied.
What happens if I make a mistake after completing my feedback?
How do I complete my feedback?
I complete my feedback for each student and each subject. Meaning, if I'm teaching the same student 2 subjects, I must complete the Feedback twice, once for each subject.
I use the dropdown to select the responses best suited for each questions. I complete the text fields with as many details as possible to provide Private Tutors Egypt with a full view of the student's level, the goals set, and the material covered.
Students
How do I contact the parents/student?
I head to the menu and click on STUDENTS, I click on the phone number that appears under the student's profile and it will automatically dial the contact number.
A contact button is also available on my dashboard under UPCOMING SESSIONS that gives me quick access.
How do I find the student's address?
I head to the menu and click on STUDENTS, I click on the address that appears under the student's profile and it will automatically open a new tab with the exact location of the student.
A location button is also available on my dashboard under UPCOMING SESSIONS that gives me quick access.
How do I know how many hours I have completed with my student?
I head to the menu and click on STUDENTS, I scroll down and will see two counters.
The first one is the total hours I have complete this current month with my student.
The second one is the total hours I have complete through the entire tutoring periode with my student.
Offers
How do I get an offer?
There are two types of offers: ALL OFFRES & PERSONAL OFFER
I get a notification when new offers are available on the portal. The notification will specify whether the category is ALL OFFERS or PERSONAL OFFER.
The ALL OFFERS section include positions that may not fit my intended schedule or initial selected work locations.
The PERSONAL OFFER section is intended for positions matching my exact profile.
What do I do when I get an offer?
As soon as I receive any offer notification, I must head to my portal menu and click on ALL OFFERS or PERSONAL OFFERS depending on the category within 24 hours maximum.
In the ALL OFFERS section I get a preview of all the available offers and can click on each one to check the details. Should I find an interesting offer I can go ahead and click accept.
In the PERSONAL OFFER section I get a full view of the details of the position and can either accept or decline the offer. If I chose to decline I must provide a reason.
Please be advised that multiple declines of personal offers without justified reason will result in sanctions.
What happens after I have accepted an offer?
After I accept an offer my profile is sent to the parents for approval in the case of ALL OFFERS. if my profile is selected, I will be notified and the student will be assigned to my portal in the STUDENTS section.
After I accept a PERSONAL OFFER I will be notified, my profile will get connect to the student's portal, and the student will be assigned to my portal in the STUDENTS section.
Library
How do I use my library?
My library is mainly divided my grade levels: Preschool, Primary, Middle School, High School, University.
It includes: books, workbooks, presentations, and worksheets for the various subjects taught at each grade level.
It also has a Tutor Library dedicated to materials to help me teach and stay organised.
I need material I can't find in the library!
I get in touch with my tutor advisor who will require some information about the required material and let me know when it will be made available on the library. tutor.advisor@privatetutorsegypt.com
Can I download books from the library onto my computer?

File Share
How do I use the file share option?
I can share files with my students and receive files from my students in the FILE SHARE section from the menu.
I select my student from the dropdown and I upload the file before submitting.
The student will receive a notification and the file will appear on their portal.

How do I receive files from my students?
My student can send me files too. Once they do, I receive a notification and the file appears on my drive in the FILE SHARE section.
Human Resources
What is the human resources section?
The HUMAN RESOURCES section is dedicated to my salary info, downloading a copy of my contract, notifying Private Tutors Egypt of my leaves, updating my banking information, and adding to my credentials.
How do I request leave of absence?
I request a leave of absence by clicking on the LEAVE OF ABSENCE button in the HUMAN RESOURCES section and filling the form with the relevant information.
Once I submit my leave, Human Resources will review it and email me accordingly.
How do I update my banking information?
I update my bank information by clicking on the UPDATE BANKING INFO button in the HUMAN RESOURCES section and filling the form with the relevant information.
Once I submit my leave, Human Resources will update my banking information on their system and my upcoming salary will be transferred to my new bank.
How do I upload a new diploma or certificate?
I add to my credentials to improve my tutor profile by clicking on the UPLOAD CERTIFICATES/DIPLOMAS button in the HUMAN RESOURCES section and uploading a copy of the document I want to submit.
Once I submit my document, Human Resources will review it and update my tutor profile accordingly.
How can I get a copy of my contract?
I can easily find a copy of my contract in the HUMAN RESOURCES section by clicking on the DOWNLOAD CONTRACT button.
How do I access my salary info?
I can access my salary information in the HUMAN RESOURCES section and download my payslip which is made available every month.
Who do I contact regarding my salary & salary slip?
My Account
How do I access my account section?
I can access the MY ACCOUNT section by clicking on my profile picture.
In this section I will find all my personal information, and buttons to update my information or add a subject to my list.
How do I update my profile picture?
I click on the UPDATE PROFILE PICTURE button in the MY ACCOUNT section and upload an image of your choice. My selected image will be updated on my profile.
How do I update my contact information?
I click on the UPDATE CONTACT INFORMATION button in the MY ACCOUNT section and enter the new information in the relevant fields, your info will be update on your profile.
How do I add a subject I would like to teach?
I click on the ADD A SUBJECT button in the MY ACCOUNT section and select the subject I would like to add to my list. Once I click on submit, I will receive an email with a link to access the test. Human Resources will review the results of my test once I complete it and add the subject to my profile if I have succeeded.
If however I fail the test, the subject will not be added and I won't be able to retake the test.
When do I update my availability?
I update my availability regularly to receive adequate tutoring offers matching my profile & schedule.
I update my availability after I get assigned a student to block the days & times I'm teaching from my schedule.
How do I update my availability?
I click on the MY AVAILABILITY button in the MY ACCOUNT section and select the days and times at which I am available. My availablity will be updated on my profile.
